Welcome to LITTLE STARS

Little Stars is our pre-school dance program catering for children from walking age until Pre-Primary. This program was specifically designed by the team at Universal to support pre-school age children’s developmental milestones, coordination, confidence, musicality and overall love for all things dance and performing arts.

Through our Little Stars Program we offer four different classes to suit the needs, abilities and interests of our littlest dancers and their families.

Little Stars BALLET

Little Stars Ballet is a 30 minute ballet class designed to nurture creativity, coordination, and a love of movement in young children. Basic ballet positions and movements are introduced in a simple, age-appropriate manner, often through story telling with a strong focus on developing gross motor skills, balance and rhythm to foster confidence and a sense of achievement in young dancers.

Little Stars Ballet classes at Universal are offered to students age 2yrs - Pre-Primary with a variety of age appropriate levels to support every child in their ballet growth and journey.

These classes are an independent learning program to help support their independence, to encourage confidence, focus, and personal growth. This approach helps minimise distractions and allows students to fully engage with their dance teacher, build listening skills, and develop self-confidence. Dancing independently fosters responsibility, concentration, and a stronger sense of accomplishment, while also creating a structured and supportive atmosphere where every child can thrive.
